I like to sing in my free time. I don't like my voice and when someone wants to hear a recording I don't want to let them hear it. The younger people like my nieces and nephews just listen and don't say anything afterwards, maybe because they understand what sounds good and what doesn't.
Then a couple of my cousins listened and they said it was good and I need to go on American Idol. But as I watch some of those people and hear them say after they are rejected "My friends and family said i had a good voice" it makes me wonder if that is what might happen to me.
I'd hate to hear good feeback from friends and family and then end up being rejected by people who could make me a success. I think I'll just continue to perform on my small Kareoke machine. Its a whole lot safer.
