I got a call from my...."father" yesterday. I didn't even say hi I said what rock did you come out from under? And all he did was laugh! What is the freaking deal with that?!
Then he said he hadn't seen me in a minute. I said its been more than a minute. It's been a month and 6 days. When I said that its been more than a minute he laughed. When he was done for that little second he told "her" what I had said then asked me again and laughed all over again.
He said his favorite words to me. "I'll come see you when I can." He said something is wrong with his truck, just like he said the last time he called.
He said he'd call again but i'm not getting my hopes up any more. I'm getting tired of this. Its like I have one parent. But its fine with me. I love her more than I can express. He isn't here to take care of me but she sure the hell is. Thanks mom for everything.
