He told me not to get too excited about my father coming around. He was suppose to phone me last night because I would be at a football game tonight. Well, he didn't phone me. So its true about what I put into a recent poem of mine, "You take a step forward, and ten back, trying not to get close to me again." I can't stand this and he wonders why I treat him the way i do sometimes. I call him Clint when i speak of him and not dad. It might be wrong but he needs to earn my trust again.
